    I don't think you realize how much you count on those people around you until you're doing it by yourself. To have an advisory board of people that you can go to in place as you get started, is going to be critical for for people who are just starting their own business.

    1. You want to get in front of your ideal customer at least seven times with your ads, that's proven to be most effective.

    2. You want to make sure that any lead that comes to your website is contacted within five minutes that will improve your conversion rate overall.

    3. 2% is the average of visitors who convert into a lead. So if you're tracking this number, that'll give you a good sense of how you compare to maybe where your competitors are.

    4. It takes a good three to six months for SEO to really work for your website. So give it time.

    5. The average email open rates across all industries is about 28%. So it's a good benchmark to kind of see how you're performing today.
