Well that’s really the only thing I've ever done either as an attorney or as a consultant or as an advisor. My core group of clients have always been entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses, and we've helped grow companies from start-ups’ seed round all the way to exit. So it's what I'm passionate about.
When I can help add value to the life of an entrepreneur, I know that I'm influencing them, their teams, their customers, their families, and the reach that they have. Our influence can be so much greater when working together than when working alone.

My Advisory Board exists for clients who want short term actionable advice that they can take advantage of right now today. What we know is that sometimes our clients just need a sounding board to ask a question to think through a decision to check the way they're thinking about a certain thing. And the been there, done that experts by My Advisory Board are going to be at the ready to give guidance and advice coming from their expertise and their experience to aid in that process.
We think just having the ability to reach those experts and have them be so accessible is what really sets My Advisory Board apart.

One of my clients told me that they used to refer to their legal adviser as the “business prevention department.”
The reality is a lot of lawyers are known to find reasons why business can't do what they want to do. And in a sense, that is PART our job.
A big part of what we do as business lawyers is help mitigate the risk of operating in a business which is important, but there is a balance between mitigating risk and eliminating risk. Often we know as business owners that taking appropriate risks is what you have to do to be able to scale and grow.
For our My Advisory Board clients, we can help navigate that discussion and be really well advised at what the risks are and how to make really informed business decisions of where that risk versus that reward is going to come from.
